The terms governing your use of the site.
By using Wealth Informatics, you agree to these terms. They cover what the site is, what it isn’t, what you can and can’t do, and where the limits of our responsibility lie.
By using the site, you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at wealthinformatics.com and any related subdomains (“the site”), operated by Wealth Informatics LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Operator: Wealth Informatics LLC · 81 Henry St, Unit D, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301, United States.
By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the site.
If you are using the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” refers to both you and that organization.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the site. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. The site is not intended for use by children under 13.
What the site is.
Wealth Informatics is a personal-finance information site. It provides:
- Editorial guides and articles on US personal-finance topics — taxes, retirement planning, investing, mortgages, debt, credit, banking, and related subjects.
- Financial calculators that compute estimates based on inputs you provide and formulas documented on our Methodology page.
- A newsletter with periodic updates on new content and changes to relevant federal regulations.
- A contact form for inquiries, error reports, topic suggestions, and other correspondence.
The site provides general informational content for educational purposes. It is not a financial-services provider. We do not hold customer funds, execute transactions, give personalized financial advice, or provide any service regulated under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or analogous state laws.
Content is information, not advice.
The site’s content is researched against federal-source documents (IRS, SEC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, and others) and reviewed by credentialed professionals where indicated. However:
- No content on the site is personalised to your specific situation. Your tax position, investment goals, risk tolerance, family circumstances, and other personal factors are not known to us and cannot be reflected in general informational content.
- Federal and state rules change. Despite our update commitments documented on the Fact-Checking Policy page, content may not reflect the most recent regulatory changes at any given moment.
- The reviewer named on a page is not your professional. A reviewer’s credential confirms the content was checked by a qualified professional. It does not create a client relationship between you and that reviewer.
For decisions involving your specific situation — tax filing, investment strategy, mortgage shopping, debt restructuring, estate planning, or any other matter where your personal circumstances are material — you should consult a licensed fiduciary professional (an accountant, financial advisor, attorney, or other qualified expert) who can evaluate your full circumstances.
Calculators produce estimates, not authoritative results.
By using any calculator on the site, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Calculator outputs depend entirely on the inputs you provide. Inaccurate or incomplete inputs produce inaccurate or incomplete outputs. We cannot verify the accuracy of your inputs.
- Calculators use stated assumptions. The assumptions for each calculator are documented on our Methodology page. Where the assumptions don’t match your situation, the calculator’s output may not apply to you.
- Future-looking calculators rely on guesses about the future. Calculators that project investment growth, retirement outcomes, mortgage scenarios, or other future-dependent values use assumed rates of return, inflation, and other variables. The future will not match these assumptions. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
- Tax calculators use tables current as of their last update. Tax tables, contribution limits, and bracket figures change. Calculators are updated within 30 days of agency announcements (see our Methodology page). At any given moment, a calculator may not reflect the most recent change.
- Calculator results are not authoritative for tax filing, investment decisions, or financial commitments. Before relying on a calculator result for a real-world decision, verify the math using the formula documented on the Methodology page, and consult a licensed professional for any decision of consequence.
The site disclaims any responsibility for decisions made or actions taken in reliance on calculator outputs.
What you can and can’t do on the site.

Who owns what on the site.
6.1 Site content

6.2 Permitted use

- Quote brief excerpts in articles, blog posts, social media, and academic work, with proper attribution (article title, author where named, link to the original page on our site).
- Reproduce calculator formulas documented on the Methodology page for your personal use (the formulas themselves are standard financial mathematics and are not claimed as proprietary; our documentation of them is).
6.3 Prohibited use
Without our prior written consent, you may not:
- Republish, redistribute, or syndicate full articles or substantial portions of articles on any other website, publication, or platform.
- Use any content for the training of artificial-intelligence models, machine-learning systems, or similar automated systems. The site’s content is not licensed for AI training.

6.4 Inquiries
For licensing inquiries, syndication requests, or any other use beyond what is permitted above, contact us through the contact form with the subject “Business inquiry.”
Links to other sites.
The site contains links to third-party websites — primarily federal government sites (IRS, SEC, FDIC, etc.) cited as sources for figures and rules, and occasionally to other third-party sites for context or further reading.
We do not control these third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, terms of service, or any losses or damages arising from your use of them. Linking from our site does not constitute endorsement of any third-party site.
When you click a link to a third-party site, you leave Wealth Informatics and are subject to that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
The site is provided “as is.”
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the site and all content, calculators, and services made available through it are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Warranties that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any content, including content reviewed by credentialed professionals.
- Warranties that any calculator output will produce accurate, complete, or applicable results for your specific situation.
- Warranties that the site will meet your specific requirements.
While we make good-faith efforts to ensure content accuracy (see our Editorial Policy and Fact-Checking Policy), no such effort can guarantee absolute accuracy, and you use the site at your own risk.
The limits of our responsibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Wealth Informatics, its operators, contributors, reviewers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the site.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Loss of money, profits, savings, or investment value.
- Tax penalties, interest, or other costs resulting from reliance on content or calculator output.
- Loss of data, time, or opportunity.
- Damages arising from financial decisions made in reliance on content or calculators on the site.
- Damages arising from third-party content or third-party services linked from the site.
Where applicable law does not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to your use of the site shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. (We do not currently charge for use of the site, so this cap functions as $100.)
The limitations in this section apply regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based — contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Your responsibility for misuse.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wealth Informatics, its operators, contributors, reviewers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
- Your unauthorized use of the site or its content.
- Any content you submit to the site (through the contact form or otherwise) that infringes third-party rights.
Ending access.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or unlawful activity, or technical or security concerns.
You may stop using the site at any time. If you have subscribed to the newsletter, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including the intellectual property provisions, the disclaimer of warranties, the limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — shall survive any termination.
The law that applies.
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them or your use of the site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.
How disputes are resolved.
13.1 Informal resolution first
If you have a dispute or claim against us arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site, we ask that you first contact us in writing through the contact form and give us 60 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally before initiating any formal proceeding.
13.2 Binding arbitration
If informal resolution fails, you and we agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or another mutually agreed arbitration provider. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language and seated in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
13.3 Class-action waiver
You and we agree that any arbitration or other proceeding shall be conducted in your or our individual capacity only, and not as a class action, collective action, or representative action. Class arbitration and class actions are waived.
13.4 Exceptions
The arbitration requirement does not apply to: (a) claims for injunctive relief related to intellectual property; (b) small-claims-court actions brought in the small-claims court of the jurisdiction where you reside; or (c) claims that the parties mutually agree to resolve in court.
13.5 Opt-out
You may opt out of the arbitration and class-action-waiver provisions of this section within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending written notice to us through the contact form with the subject “Arbitration opt-out” and including your name and email address.
When the terms change.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change.
- The version number will increment.
- For material changes, we will provide more prominent notice (such as a banner on the site or an email to newsletter subscribers).
Your continued use of the site after the effective date of an updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the site.
Other provisions.
15.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the site, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, preserving the original intent as much as possible.
15.3 No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
15.5 Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, labor disputes, internet outages, or other force majeure events.
15.6 Notices
Any notice to you under these Terms may be given by email (if we have your email address), by posting a notice on the site, or by any other means reasonably calculated to reach you. Any notice to us must be sent through the contact form or by email to the address in section 16.
