01 — About this policy

What this Privacy Policy covers.

This Privacy Policy describes how Wealth Informatics LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “the site”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about visitors to the website at wealthinformatics.com and any related subdomains (“the site”).

This policy applies to information collected through the site, through any forms or newsletters we operate on the site, and through any direct correspondence you have with us via the contact addresses listed in section 13.

Operator: Wealth Informatics LLC · 81 Henry St, Unit D, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301, United States.

The site is operated from the United States. By using the site, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site.

One thing this site doesn’t do: we don’t operate any affiliate marketing program, and we don’t share or sell visitor data to advertisers, data brokers, or financial-product marketers. Section 06 covers exactly what data sharing does occur.
02 — Information we collect

What we collect, and when.

We collect three kinds of information: information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you visit the site, and information from limited third-party services we use to operate the site.

2.1 Information you provide directly

When you submit a form on the site, sign up for our newsletter, or send us an email, you provide information that you choose to share. This typically includes:

  • Contact form submissions: your name, email address, the subject of your inquiry, the message you send, and (optionally) the URL of any page your inquiry concerns.
  • Newsletter signups: your email address, the date of signup, and (where you provide it) any name or topic-interest preference.
  • Direct correspondence: any content of emails you send us through the addresses listed in section 13, including the email address you send from.

Providing information through any of these channels is voluntary. You can use the site, including all calculators and guides, without providing any personal information.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our servers and analytics tools automatically receive technical information that your browser sends with every request. This typically includes:

  • Device and browser information: browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, language preference.
  • Network information: IP address (truncated for analytics purposes — see section 04), approximate geographic location at country and region level only.
  • Site interaction: pages you visit, links you click, time spent on each page, referring URL, search queries you used to find us.
  • Calculator inputs: the inputs you enter into our calculators may be processed in your browser only — most of our calculators do not transmit input values to our servers. Where a calculator does store or transmit inputs (for example, to save a result to a link you can share), that behavior is documented on the calculator page itself.

2.3 Information from third-party services

We use limited third-party services to operate the site (see section 05). These services may collect or process information directly from your browser according to their own privacy policies. We do not buy or import personal data from any third-party data broker or marketing database.

03 — How we use information

What we do with the information we collect.

Information is used only for the purposes described below. We do not use information for any purpose not listed here without notifying you first.

  • To respond to inquiries. When you send us a message through the contact form or by email, we use the information you provide to investigate and respond to your inquiry.
  • To send the newsletter. When you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you the newsletter content you signed up for — and nothing else. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email at any time using the link at the bottom.
  • To investigate corrections and improve content. When you report an error in our content, we use the information you provide to investigate and (where appropriate) correct the affected page.
  • To operate and improve the site. We use analytics data to understand how the site is used — which pages are read, where readers come from, which calculators get used. This helps us decide what to write next and where to focus editorial work.
  • To detect and prevent abuse. We use technical information (IP addresses, request patterns) to detect and prevent spam, scraping, security attacks, and abuse of our forms and services.
  • To comply with legal obligations. Where required by law, we may use or retain information to comply with legal process, court orders, or regulatory obligations.

We do not use the information we collect to:

  • Build advertising profiles or target you with personalised ads.
  • Sell, rent, or share your information with data brokers or marketers.
  • Train AI or machine-learning models on your personal information.
  • Make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
04 — Cookies & tracking

How we use cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. The site uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) for a limited set of purposes. We do not use cookies for advertising or for tracking you across other sites.

Cookie typePurposeDuration
EssentialNeeded for the site to function — for example, to remember your cookie-preference choice, or to keep calculator inputs in your browser session.Session or up to 12 months
AnalyticsUsed by our analytics provider (see section 05) to measure site usage in aggregate. IP addresses are truncated before storage; we do not see your full IP.Up to 14 months
PreferencesRemember your display preferences (e.g., dark mode if available, font-size choice).Up to 12 months

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may break some site functionality. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your use of the site.

This site respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where browsers send it. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat that as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — though we do not sell or share personal information for advertising in any case.

05 — Third-party services

The services we use to operate the site.

We use a small number of third-party services to operate the site. Each is listed below, along with what data is shared with it and a link to that service’s own privacy policy.

ServicePurposeData shared
Web hosting provider
Disclosed on request — see Contact
Hosts the website infrastructure. IP address, request URLs, device/browser info — standard server log data.
Analytics provider
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC)
Measures site usage in aggregate. IP-anonymization enabled; Google Signals disabled. Truncated IP, device info, pages visited, referrer, country/region. Configured for privacy-by-default.
Email / newsletter provider
Disclosed on request — see Contact
Stores newsletter subscriber list and sends newsletter emails. Email address, signup date, basic engagement metadata (opens/clicks).
Contact form processor
Disclosed on request — see Contact
Receives contact-form submissions and forwards them to the editorial team. Whatever you submit through the form (name, email, message, page URL).
CDN / DDoS protection
Disclosed on request — see Contact
Speeds up site delivery and protects against attacks. IP address, request metadata — used for security and performance, not stored long-term.
Advertising platforms (conversion tracking)
Google Ads, Meta (Facebook + Instagram), LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest
Conversion tracking for our paid acquisition campaigns. Loads only after explicit consent in EU/UK/Switzerland. Honors GPC + CCPA opt-out in applicable US states. Platform-specific identifiers (_fbp, _gcl_au, li_sugr, etc.), page URL where conversion event fired, browser metadata. No personal information beyond what you submit on the page.

Each of these services is contractually obligated to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy law. We do not use any third-party advertising network for display ads on this site (no AdSense, no programmatic ad infrastructure), and we do not use any service for affiliate-revenue tracking. The advertising-platform pixels above are scoped to conversion attribution from our own paid acquisition campaigns — not to sell anything to you on this site. See the Revenue & Disclosure page for the full editorial position and the Cookie Policy for the cookie-level breakdown.

06 — How we share information

When information leaves our hands.

We share information only in the limited circumstances described below. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

  • Service providers. The third-party services listed in section 05 receive only the information they need to provide the service.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or valid legal process (such as a subpoena). We will challenge legal requests that we believe are overly broad or improper, where it is practical to do so.
  • Safety and security. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, security threats, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Business transfers. If the site is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you (by email if we have your email, and by a prominent notice on the site) before any such transfer occurs, and you will have the opportunity to opt out where required by applicable law.
07 — Data retention

How long we keep information.

We keep personal information only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as required by applicable law.

  • Contact form submissions: kept for up to 24 months after the inquiry is resolved, then deleted. Active correction investigations may extend this period.
  • Newsletter subscriber data: kept for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from the active list and retained for up to 12 months on a suppression list (to prevent re-adding you accidentally), after which it is fully deleted.
  • Analytics data: retained per our analytics provider’s default settings (typically 14 months for individual visit data, indefinitely for aggregated/anonymized data).
  • Server logs: typically retained for 90 days, then deleted or aggregated.
  • Legal/compliance records: retained as long as required by applicable law, then deleted.
08 — Security

How we protect information.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption for all site traffic and form submissions.
  • Access controls on systems that store personal information — only the editorial team members who need access have it.
  • Vendor-provided security on the third-party services listed in section 05.
  • Regular review of access logs and security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

09 — Your rights

What you can ask us to do with your data.

Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights regarding your personal information. We extend the following rights to all visitors regardless of jurisdiction, where it is technically possible to do so:

  • Right to know. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and how it is being used.
  • Right to access. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Right to delete. You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (e.g., where we are required to retain information by law).
  • Right to opt out. You can opt out of newsletter emails at any time using the unsubscribe link. You can opt out of analytics tracking via your browser settings or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights.

9.1 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the rights listed above plus the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA.

9.2 European residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws, including the rights listed above plus the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your information is your consent (for newsletter signups), our legitimate interests (for site operation and security), or compliance with legal obligations (where applicable).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in section 13. We will respond within 30 days (or longer where allowed by law for complex requests). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

10 — Children’s privacy

Information from children.

The site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us using the information in section 13, and we will take prompt action to delete that information.

11 — International transfers

If you are visiting from outside the United States.

The site is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States. United States data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using the site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and to the use of your information as described in this policy. Where required by law (for example, for transfers from the European Economic Area), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

12 — Changes to this policy

When this policy is updated.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable law. When we update the policy:

  • The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change.
  • The version number will increment.
  • For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as a banner on the homepage or an email to newsletter subscribers, where we have that contact information).

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the site after a change to the policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
